UNDEF design is a digital design studio we built to help business elevate their brand and product experiences through a simplistic and human-centered design philosophy. We wanted to bring the design process back to its essence — a problem solver who looks into the fundamentals and make a goal-scorer result.

In the Tao philosophy, Tao guides people with humbleness in its undefined form. That’s how we see design as a service. We don’t put ceilings or rules in our process of creation, and encourage thinking out of any defined terms. We love uncertainty and possibilities, as the best results always come in an open and undefined form.

The voyage and more…

The journey of starting and operating a digital design studio had taught me so much more than design. It pushed me to become a better communicator, problem solver, leader and team-player. By putting myself in the shoes of young businesses and enterprises, and genuinely caring about their concerns, I have gained a broader understanding of the impact of a good design.

It is most fulfilling when our clients tell us that they feel greatly inspired and that our work has exceeded their expectations. I also want to thank my co-founder Pinyi Li and Edward Hao for their unconditional support.
